DUCKT is acquired by ACTON in February 2022 to Supercharge City 3.0.
DUCKT is a smart mobility startup that designs and provides docking, locking and charging IoT systems for micromobility vehicles. DUCKT was established in 2019 by three co-founders who have broad automotive industry experience and know-how. Currently, DUCKT has 1600 online stations in 20 cities across five continents including Paris, New York City,Miami, San Francisco, and Cape Town.
Thanks to its patented technology, DUCKT is a leading universal, facile solution in the market and is compatible with vehicle models from leading manufacturers including Segway, Okai, Acton, and Zoomo. In addition, DUCKT is compatible with fleet management software providers such as Vulog, JoyRide, Wunder, Atom, GoUrban, and Lattis.
DUCKT has received international recognition for its sleek design including the A’ Design Award and Red Dot Design Award. It also placed first at Startup Estonia and first at the Smart City Competition by the Tallinn municipality, and was featured as one of seven startups to watch in 2020 by Google Startups and a TC Top Pick in Mobility 2019 by TechCrunch Disrupt Berlin. In February 2022, DUCKT was selected as one of the “First 50” startups for the LG NOVA Mission for the Future challenge program and named Cleantech startup in Alternative Mobility category by StartUs Insights.
