EIT Urban Mobility RIS Hub Turkiye is led by Fark Labs in partnership with Sabanci University to increase the awareness of urban mobility in Turkiye, share new Turkish urban mobility technologies, and connect local stakeholders with our international EIT Urban Mobility community. Furthermore, we provide startups with mentorship, knowledge, networking, access to funding, and matchmaking with EIT ecosystem partners, among others.
Established in 2021, EIT Urban Mobility RIS Hub Turkiye strives to build a community in Turkiye that develops new ideas, methods, and systems in a multidisciplinary approach. We believe that making cities liveable requires the collaboration of all urban mobility stakeholders – private companies, startups, universities, research institutes, municipalities, public institutions, and NGOs.
We accelerate urban mobility startups, and help them connect and develop by collaborating with other EIT Urban Mobility accelerator programs, the Fark Labs Better Future Path program, and the Urban Mobility Living Lab in Istanbul.
Connect4Mobility is an ecosystem event that gathers a diverse array of organizations to increase the awareness of urban mobility, define the needs of the urban mobility ecosystem of Turkiye, and further discuss the gaps in urban mobility. It also serves as a venue for participants to learn more about Innomotion program startups.
The RIS Hub Turkey Consortium meets quarterly with urban mobility experts, thought leaders, and stakeholders to discuss and analyze the urban mobility landscape in Turkey. Addressing the challenges and opportunities of the urban mobility ecosystem, we design new business and collaboration models for startups to further develop their competencies.
